Learning and understanding abstract art does not mean that your child will choose painting or any other art form as a profession. However, it does mean that your child will become a well rounded individual who can handle the finer nuances of creativity and logic with equal ease.
Most parents know how important art is to their children, especially in the areas of creativity and imagination. What you might not know is that that art can help with many developmental skills such as cognitive skills, language, motor skills, focusing, listening and even the development of social skills.
